74% growth of American exports to Iran since the beginning of 2024

The US Bureau of Statistics announced in its latest report: The trade exchange between Iran and the US has more than doubled in the first two months of this year and reached 20.4 million dollars.

Commercial exchanges between the two countries in the two months of 2024 have grown by 112 percent compared to the same period last year. In the months of January and February 2023, up to 9.6 million dollars of goods were exchanged between the two countries.

According to this report, in the first two months of 2024, US exports to Iran have grown by 74%. In the first two months of 2023, as much as 9.5 million dollars worth of goods were exported from America to Iran, which has increased to 16.6 million dollars in the same period this year.

U.S. imports from Iran in the two months of this year also increased 38 times compared to the same period last year and reached 3.8 million dollars. In the two months of the previous year, only 0.1 million dollars worth of goods were imported from Iran to America.

The amount of trade between Iran and America is not a significant figure compared to the total trade of the two countries with the world. Iran ranks 148th among the US export destinations in the two months of 2024 and ranks 155th among the sources of supply of imported goods of this country.

According to this report, US exports to Iran in the second month of this year have increased by 46% compared to February last year and reached 9.4%. In this month, America imported 0.4 million dollars of goods from Iran, which is 4 times compared to the same month last year.
