Amnesty International: Israel does not grant Palestinians the right to life

Amnesty International criticized the death of a Palestinian prisoner in the prison of the Zionist regime.

The Zionist regime is systematically killing Palestinians and committing genocide. Although this issue is denied by Tel Aviv’s allies, international organizations are constantly warning about it.

According to Al Jazeera, Amnesty International announced today (Monday) that Walid Daqih, a Palestinian prisoner who was suffering from advanced cancer and died in the custody of the Zionist regime, shows that Israel does not value the right to life for Palestinians.

Amnesty International’s statement says: Sana Salameh, the wife of Walid Daghieh, has not yet managed to receive her husband’s body. Israel should hand over the body of this Palestinian to his family without delay. Waleed should be buried with respect.

Walid Daghieh, a 62-year-old writer who spent 38 years in the prisons of the Zionist regime, held the record for the longest period of captivity among Palestinians. In 2022, he found out about his cancer during tests, and since then, humanitarian requests for his release from prison began, but Israel ignored all these requests. This is despite the fact that the body of this author is still in the possession of the Israeli army after his death.

In other news, the Palestine Red Crescent Society announced today that Al-Amal Hospital and its medical equipment in Khan Yunis were severely damaged after the retreat of the Zionist forces.

Now only 10 hospitals are active in Gaza, which are providing services to patients in a limited way. Health authorities in Gaza have asked people to visit hospitals only in case of illness or injury.

It is expected that due to the high density of patients and the lack of medical equipment, another number of hospitals in Gaza will soon be out of service.
