Putin was more popular than the other two options among the four studied countries, especially Egypt (51.6). Biden was also slightly more popular in Iraq, but he is still chasing Putin (35.5) and Jin Ping (35.3) in this country with 29.2 percent.
Al-Monitor has written that the popularity of Washington and Biden has decreased because of their support for the Gaza war. The answers of the participants in the survey about which of Washington and Moscow would be more successful in mediating the Middle East conflicts fluctuated, so that 30% of Washington and 28% of Moscow consider it more successful. However, more than 40% agree with the approach that America is “still better equipped to resolve the Gaza war.” This figure was 27.9% for Russia and 13.4% for China.

Only 29.7% of participants wanted closer cooperation with Washington. Two-thirds of them believe that China’s economic investment in their country has had a positive impact on the economy, and 52.3% consider economic cooperation with Russia to be beneficial. Also, 39.7% of them believe that American economic investment in their country is positive, and 29.8% consider this investment to be negative.
