He made these statements during a meeting with Wang Yi, the Chinese Foreign Minister. In this meeting, various topics were discussed, including bilateral relations, the war in Ukraine, the situation in the Asia-Pacific region, and joint cooperation in international organizations such as the United Nations and G20.

Lavrov also thanked China for expressing sympathy with Russia after the March 22 terrorist attack in the suburbs of Moscow and supporting Russia’s fight against terrorism. In this attack, at least 144 people were killed and more than 550 people were injured.
