Women’s rights and the double standards of the West
While America and the West claim to defend women's rights, statistics show that they are one of the biggest violators of women's rights in various fields. |
Mehr News Agency, Intergroup International: The issue of human rights, especially for women and children, has always been one of the levers of the West’s pressure against the developing world and the East so that they can justify their colonial policies against these countries and an excuse to give legitimacy to have their interference in the internal affairs of these countries. In the meantime, the issue of gender equality between women and men has been and is one of these levers of pressure. Laws that appear to be in favor of women’s rights, inwardly have unfortunate consequences for society and family.
The imposition of the school of feminism on the society is trying to use this tool to dominate women over men in the social arena, which has not only benefited women so far, but the effects of Its tragedy is the disintegration of the family center, while the religion of Islam and the Qur’an say this about the equality of men and women: For, indeed, you are honored by Allah, and I fear you, indeed, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Knowing. /p>
This verse from the Holy Quran outlines the issue of women’s equality with men in such a way that none of them have superior rights over each other due to their gender. Meanwhile, the school of feminism dominates the western society, and the statistics show that most of the western women are the victims of moral unrest and the fall of moral values in these societies.
The same western countries, upon hearing a news about the status of women that is not consistent with their examples, send a wave of criticism towards the government and related institutions and try to The basis of these false creations is to pursue their ostensibly human rights project in Iran to achieve political goals.
Of course, now the displacement of Palestinian women and children and the massacre of civilians has revealed to some extent the political and false view of the West on the category of human rights. These days, the dual behavior of the West regarding the issue of human rights has been revealed in such a way that it is well known that the issue of human rights is a tool in the foreign policy of the United States and the Western countries that claim human rights. Among all examples of violation of human rights in the West, the violation of women’s rights and violence against them in all social, economic, racial, age and geographical classes is prominent in the West.
If we look at the statistics of violations of women’s rights in the West, we will find that while Western countries claim to protect women and their media circles pretend that Women are the saviors of the world, and the study of the status of women in Europe and America reveals the truth behind these humanitarian gestures.
Meanwhile, according to the report of the American Crime Center, an average of 1,871 women in this country are sexually assaulted per day. At least one out of every three women in the US military is raped. Statistics show that 90% of women working in the US military were raped during the Persian Gulf War.
In addition, about 43% of American women experience sexual violence in their lives. Is this behavior in the western society and America due to the existence of superficial laws passed in the west for the benefit of women, or is the capitalist society’s view of the west the cause of these behaviors towards women?
In the western capitalist system, priority is given to capital, and people, both men and women, should serve capital and create wealth. This statistic is not only in America, but there are similar conditions in Europe as well. The statistics of rape and destruction of women’s dignity in Europe, which claims women’s rights, is also significant, just like in America. One out of every four women in Sweden is raped, which is a very painful statistic. One out of five British women has experienced sexual violence before the age of 16.
The Institute for Combating Violence Against Women in England has announced that 463 cases of sexual assault against girls have been registered in British universities in the last two years, which represents one case of sexual assault every day. The duration of the academic year in the universities of this country.
The issue of calling Ukrainian women to military service is also gender equality, which not only does not match their human physique and spirit, but its destructive effects on the family are double. The ban on the departure of women eligible for military service from Ukraine has created a wave of concerns in the society of this country, which may have more destructive effects on families than the encroachment of the enemy on the territory of this country. It provoked the criticism of human rights and feminist institutions against Russia, but now these human rights institutions are silent and somehow aligned with the Ukrainian government.
Of course, calling up reserve soldiers, both men and women, in critical situations is common in all countries, but Western human rights institutions remain silent when it is in their interest, and where which is in a country that is not aligned with the West, with a wave of accusations against the governments of these countries, it is considered a violation of women’s rights and the ban on women leaving the country is a violation of civil liberties for women, while now it is aligned with the Ukrainian government’s call for military service and nothing They don’t see any kind of criticism directed at the Ukrainian government.
Human rights institutions, including the United Nations Human Rights Commission and other Western non-governmental organizations that claim to defend human rights or women’s and children’s rights, are exactly on the land of Western governments. They are playing and these institutions are new colonial tools in the hands of Western governments, which we see a clear example of in the issue of Palestinian women and children every day, and it can be said that these organizations have not only lost trust but hope with their selective performance in the human rights category. They have also blinded the improvement of the human rights situation in the world, which damages are irreparable for the world community.
