According to the report of the international group Tasnim news agency quoting “Stern” weekly newspaper, the results of the latest survey show that the overwhelming majority of Germans believe that the federal government should criticize Israel more than ever for its actions in Gaza.
In a poll commissioned by Stern weekly, 57 percent are in favor of clearer words for this regime. Only 36% think that the government coalition known as Traffic Light should refrain from criticism. 7% do not comment on this.
Recently, the Zionist regime has been criticized for its military aggression in the Gaza Strip, including the large number of civilian victims and the poor care of People are under more international pressure. The representatives of the German federal government had primarily demanded more food deliveries to this region. In March, German chancellor Olaf Schultz also called for more extensive, continuous and reliable humanitarian aid to reach the region.
The results of this survey show that Voters of the Green Party (83 percent) and newly formed Sahra Wagenkshecht coalition (70 percent) particularly favor a harsher tone towards Israel. But the majority of supporters of the Social Democratic Party (61 percent), the Union of Christian United Parties (55 percent) and the extreme Alternative for Germany (49 percent) also agree to criticize this regime more clearly. Only one party’s voters strongly disagree: 56% of Lib Dem supporters say the federal government should step back. Only 44 percent of the voters of this party are in favor of a stronger criticism of Israel’s actions.
This survey was conducted on April 3 and 5 by the Forsa Institute and among about 1,001 respondents. German terms are done.
