The spokesperson of the United Nations Children’s Fund stated: Palestinians are struggling to survive under very difficult conditions. After the UN Security Council resolution was approved, there was a lot of hope that a ceasefire would be established.
Alder continued: “Everywhere I went in Gaza, the implementation of the ceasefire was the most important thing that people saw.” They talked about it and asked for its realization. So there was hope, but the sound of the bombs destroyed this hope.
