The European Union has confirmed in an announcement that the name of “Aber Arvan” company has been removed from the list of entities and individuals under sanctions of this Union.
In the same announcement, the European Union also announced that it has extended the sanctions imposed on Iran by the decision of the European Council in 2011 until April 13, 2025.
In this announcement, there is no mention of the reason for the removal of the name of Abar Arvan from the list of sanctions, but a European Union official, who asked to remain anonymous, told Radio Azad Europe: Sanctions agreed that the reasons for keeping Arvanklad’s name in this list no longer exist
This European official said that the mentioned decision was made based on confidential evaluations and reviews that are carried out in the relevant institutions of the Council of Europe.
The United States and the European Union have put this Iranian company on the list of sanctions in 2023. Washington said that it does not intend to remove it from the list of sanctions.
Matthew Miller, the spokesman of the US State Department, repeated the claims in a press conference yesterday and said that this company will remain on the sanctions list.
