Ayatollah Sistani’s office stated: It was proved by Sharia vision that tomorrow Wednesday in Iraq and The public of this region is the day of Eid al-Fitr and the first day of the month of Shawwal in the year 1445 AH.
Previously, the Iraqi Sunni Awqaf Department announced Wednesday as Eid al-Fitr.
Qatar, UAE, Palestine, Egypt, Oman, Jordan, Lebanon and Yemen have also declared Wednesday as Eid al-Fitr.
