Al-Mashat: America has launched an economic war against Yemen

According to the international group Tasnim news agency, Mehdi Al-Mashat, head of the Supreme Political Council of Yemen, in his speech On the occasion of the coming of Eid al-Fitr, his television said that America and England have launched an economic war against Yemen.

According to Saba News Agency, he stated the positions of the embassies of America, England and France regarding the minting of 100 Yemeni Rial coins in The Central Bank of Sana’a called the government’s interference in the internal affairs of Yemen and considered these positions “malign”. Mehdi al-Mashat also appreciated the efforts of the Central Bank of Sana’a government to deal with the economic war and stability currency price.

He emphasized that Yemen’s position regarding the support of the Palestinian people will not change and Yemeni operations will continue until the end of the war and the siege of Gaza. In his words, he praised the operations of the resistance front in Lebanon and Iraq and further condemned the attack of the occupying regime on the building of the consular section of the Iranian embassy in Damascus and considered it a violation of the sovereignty of Iran and Syria.

He said: “Congratulations and blessings to the Islamic Republic of Iran’s leadership and to the martyrs of the heroes who have died in this crime, the supporters of the right of the Islamic Republic of Iran to respond.”
