US Senator: There is a lot of evidence of Israeli genocide in Gaza

Elizabeth Warren, the American senator, in the latest and most direct criticism of an American congressman against the actions of the Zionist occupation, has admitted that Israel’s crimes in the Gaza Strip are turning into genocide.

While speaking at the Islamic Center of Boston last week, Warren responded to an audience member’s question about whether Israel’s actions could be classified as genocide, saying: “If you want to look at it legally They will realize that this is genocide and the legislators have a lot of evidence for this.”

This senator stated: It is much more important for me to say that what Israel is doing is wrong; And it is wrong. Starving children in a civilian population is wrong. Dropping 2,000-pound bombs in heavily populated civilian areas is wrong.”

Although he declined to directly call the attack on Gaza genocide, Warren’s acknowledgment that there is “overwhelming evidence” to classify it as genocide is the most direct criticism of Israel’s war crimes by a US congressman. His statements also come at a time when opposition to Israel’s actions has reached its peak in Washington.

After Warren’s comments, his spokesman told Politico that he was “commenting on the ongoing legal process at the International Court of Justice without expressing his view on whether genocide is occurring in Gaza.”
