Massive fire in Nasser hospital in Gaza

The Civil Defense Organization of Gaza announced that the warehouse of Nasser Hospital in the city of Khan Yunis in the south of the Gaza Strip was set on fire on the eve of Eid al-Fitr.

Anatolia news agency reported a massive fire in a warehouse at Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis city, south of the Gaza Strip, on the eve of Eid al-Fitr.

The Civil Defense Organization in this region announced in a statement that its teams rushed to the scene to put out the fire that occurred on Tuesday.

In this statement, it is noted that due to the limited resources of the teams and the destruction of the streets, it is difficult to extinguish and contain the fire.

Civil Defense has not determined the cause of the fire.

It should be said that the Palestinian resistance groups started the “Al-Aqsa storm” operation from Gaza (southern Palestine) against the positions of the Israeli regime on October 15, 2023, which finally ended on December 3, 1402 (24 November 2023) A four-day temporary cease-fire or a pause for the exchange of prisoners between Hamas and Israel was established.

This pause in the war continued for seven days and finally on the morning of Friday 10 Azar (December 1, 2023), the temporary ceasefire ended and the Israeli regime resumed attacks against Gaza.

In order to compensate for its defeat and to stop the resistance operations, this regime has closed the crossings of the Gaza Strip and is bombarding this area.

Israel is accused of genocide at the International Court of Justice (ICJ), which in January issued an interim ruling ordering Tel Aviv to stop genocidal practices and take measures to ensure humanitarian aid is provided to Gaza’s civilians.
