Pompeo: America has lost its deterrence against Iran

In an interview with Fox News on Friday night, Pompeo claimed that “Iran attacked Israel on October 7 (October 15, 1402)” and added that the lack of US deterrence made it Hamas should attack Israel.

He said: This attack and the current threats against Israel prove that US President Joe Biden continues a failed policy to defend Israel. The recent statements of Biden and his government in recent days have given Iran a green light to continue its attacks.

Pompeo said about Biden’s comments on Friday, which asked Iran not to attack Israel, that it was not a policy and “not even deterrence.”

The former US Secretary of State called the policy of the Biden administration towards developments in the West Asia after the October 7th attack caused by “weakness and cowardice” and said that the White House accepted the default of Iran’s threat. Biden has given a green light to Iran, a regime that has openly declared that it wants the destruction of America as the “Great Satan” and Israel.
