Pakistani authorities have announced that in the first incident in the city of “Nushki” in Balochistan province, unknown armed men kidnapped nine passengers after blocking a main highway. Then they were shot in the nearby mountains.
In the second incident, gunmen, who are said to be affiliated with the same group, opened fire on a passenger bus that did not pay attention to their command to stop, resulting in death. Two people and five others were injured.
Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif condemned the killing and pledged that the security forces would “eradicate terrorism.”
