Iran’s powerful attack on the “Navatim” air base/ the reason for the importance of the base

report Mehr News Agency, Al-Mayadeen news network website wrote in a report: One of the targets that was hit during Iran’s attack against the positions of the Zionist regime is the Navatim air base in the south of the occupied territories.

The spokesperson of the Zionist army admitted last night that the said military base was damaged in this attack. Several pictures have been published regarding Iran’s drone and missile attacks against military installations and airports of the Zionist regime and the occurrence of fires in these areas after massive explosions.

The New York Times quoted Zionist officials and reported that Iran used 185 drones, 36 cruise missiles and 110 surface-to-surface missiles. However, it should be pointed out that Navatim Air Base is located 1,100 kilometers from Iran and 15 kilometers southeast of Beersheba city near Moshav Navatim in the Negev desert.

This base is the main headquarters of the latest F-35 fighters of the Zionist regime army, which it received after signing an arms contract with the United States. The Novatim base had recently been renovated to accommodate these fighters.

China’s Global Times newspaper described Iran’s military response against the Zionist regime as calculated and strategic and announced that the missiles and drones hit the designated targets accurately.
