Atwan: The response to Israel showed that Iran’s leadership lives up to its word

Arab world analyst Abdul Bari Atwan wrote that last night’s unprecedented operation deep in the occupied territories showed that Iran’s leadership lives up to its word and confronts the enemy without hesitation.

Atwan wrote on his personal page on X social network (former Twitter): The region has entered a new stage.

The editor-in-chief of Al-Quds al-Arabi newspaper added: “Tel Aviv will no longer be the decision-maker and America cannot support its mercenaries by intimidating others.”

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps issued a notice on Saturday night in response to the crime and aggression of the Zionists in targeting the Iranian Consulate in Syria and the martyrdom of a group of Quds Corps senior commanders and Iranian military advisors, including Generals Mohammad Reza Zahedi and Mohammad Hadi Hajrahimi and five of his companions launched dozens of drones and missiles towards the occupied territories and positions of the Zionist regime.
