According to the foreign policy group Tasnim news agency, Nasser Kanaani, the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, expressed his condolences to the government and people of the Sultanate of Oman, especially the families of the victims, over the death of a number of Omani citizens in the unfortunate flood incident in this country.
While expressing his grief and sorrow over this natural event that caused human and financial loss, he expressed the sympathy of the government and people of the Islamic Republic of Iran to this neighboring and brotherly country and asked God Almighty for mercy and forgiveness for the victims of this unfortunate incident and for the survivors. They asked for patience.
According to Omani media reports, 18 people lost their lives due to flooding in parts of this country.
According to the “Muscat Daily” newspaper, some roads have been blocked due to heavy rains and floods, and schools have been closed in some areas of the country.
