Baku: France’s threats and pressures will have no results

The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan announced that French threats and pressures on Baku will not have any effect.

reported by Mehr News Agency quoted by Sputnik, “Aikhan Hajizadeh”, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in response to the action of the French government to summon its ambassador in Baku, announced that “the Azerbaijani side has repeatedly stated that the conversation with Baku is in the language of threats And pressure will not have results.”

The French government yesterday, Tuesday, protesting what it described as Baku’s actions in damaging bilateral relations, “Anne Bouillon” summoned its ambassador in Baku to Paris for consultation.

The statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France states that the French ambassador in Baku has called for consultations due to the continuation of the unilateral actions of the Republic of Azerbaijan that have damaged bilateral relations.

As stated in this statement, French President Emmanuel Macron met and talked with Anne Bouillon. In the meeting with Bouillon, Macron said that he was sorry for Baku’s actions and expressed his desire for the Republic of Azerbaijan to clarify its intentions.
