NATO Secretary General: Ukraine will receive more anti-aircraft systems soon

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg announced on Friday that the alliance's defense ministers have agreed to send more anti-aircraft systems to Ukraine.

Stoltenberg said in a news conference that the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky informed the alliance about the war situation and the country’s vital need for anti-aircraft systems. They agreed on strengthening and providing more military aid (to Ukraine), including by sending more anti-aircraft systems.

This senior NATO official further announced that anti-aircraft systems will be provided to Ukraine in the near future.

He added: NATO has reviewed its existing capabilities and can provide systems to Ukraine. I expect that an announcement regarding the provision of deterrence capabilities to Ukraine will be made soon.
