Increasing solidarity of American students in support of the people of Gaza

The arrest of pro-Palestinian students at Columbia University has led to a wide wave of protest rallies by other students at other universities in this country.

According to CNN, a day after the New York police arrested more than 100 students for participating in a pro-Palestinian demonstration on the campus of Columbia University, other students at other American universities joined these rallies as a sign of support for the arrested students. .

In South Carolina, Boston, Ohio and Harvard, students expressed their solidarity with the arrested pro-Palestinian protesters by launching a protest rally and demanded their release.

This group of students protested the action of the American police to arrest the students and stated that the arrested students only demonstrated peacefully to eliminate the genocide in Gaza and did not take any other action.

Earlier, Columbia University students protested the conditions of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and set up tents on the campus of Columbia University.

Their action was met with a massive reaction from the American police and the tents set up in the university campus were collected by the security forces and the active students were arrested and detained.

These protests have continued while, according to the statistics of the Palestinian Ministry of Health, at least 33,797 Palestinians have been martyred in this area since the beginning of the Gaza war and the attacks of the Zionist regime against Hamas.
