Sisi’s trip to Türkiye was on the agenda

The foreign ministers of Türkiye and Egypt called it necessary to develop cooperation between the two countries.

report Mehr News Agency, citing Sputnik, the foreign ministers of Turkey and Egypt stressed on the development of bilateral relations.

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on Saturday considered the cooperation between Turkey and Egypt to benefit the people of the two countries and the entire region.

Fidan announced in a press conference with his Egyptian counterpart “Sameh Shoukry” that the visit of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to Turkey is on the agenda.

Turkish Foreign Minister added: Trade and economy are one of the strongest issues of Turkey’s cooperation with Egypt.

Egypt’s foreign minister also announced in this news conference that the meetings and reciprocal meetings with Turkey are increasing to develop the relations between the two countries. Shukri emphasized the joint effort with Turkey to promote bilateral relations in political, economic, cultural and security terms.

Shokri said that his country is looking to increase trade exchanges with Turkey to the level of 15 billion dollars and more.
