Former US President and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has postponed his rally in Wilmington, North Carolina due to inclement weather, including thunderstorms.
Trump informed supporters in the audio that he was coming, but was advised to cancel tonight’s event to ensure everyone was safe.
He noted that he had been told to ask his supporters to leave the venue of the planned rally and seek shelter.
Trump assured the audience: “We will make up for it (speech) very quickly.” “We will do this as soon as possible and we are saddened by this, but we want to keep everyone safe,” he stressed. I’ll be back soon, North Carolina!
Trump’s speech in the framework of the US presidential election campaign was supposed to be held on Saturday evening local time, but it was finally canceled at the last minute due to the threat of a storm.
