Mauritania and Egypt’s stance on Gaza
The foreign minister of the African country of Mauritania called for the immediate establishment of a ceasefire in Gaza and the arrival of humanitarian aid to this strip. |
According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency quoted by Palestine Al-Youm, Mauritanian Foreign Minister Mohamed Salem Wold Marzouk took a position on the developments in Gaza.
He added: We are extremely concerned about the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories and condemn the murderous crimes committed by the occupiers in Gaza.
The Foreign Minister of Mauritania emphasized: We want an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. Our position on the issue of Palestine is fixed.
He also added: Humanitarian aid should be brought to Gaza.
On the other hand, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Egypt explained Cairo’s latest stance on Gaza.
In the statement of the Egyptian Foreign Ministry, it is stated: Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry emphasized the need to stop the attacks of the Zionist regime on Gaza and to stop the violence of the settlers.
