In order to calm down the Lebanese front, Netanyahu reached out to Macron
Sources in the Elysee Palace revealed that the Zionist Prime Minister has asked the French President to take action to calm the Lebanese front. |
Elysee Palace sources told Moussa Assi, director of Al-Mayadeen’s office in Geneva, that France’s new move towards Lebanon was made at the direct request of occupying Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who literally asked France to withdraw its initiative from resume and calm down the northern front of the occupied territories which is fighting against Hezbollah in Lebanon.
According to Al-Mayadin report, the recent meetings between French President Emmanuel Macron and Najib Mikati, the Prime Minister of the Lebanese Interim Government and General Joseph Aoun, the Commander of the Lebanese Army, took place in the context of Netanyahu’s request to the French.
Previously, France asked Lebanon that Hezbollah fighters move 7 kilometers away from the border with occupied Palestine so that Zionist settlers would be allowed to return to the northern settlements, in which case France would also make promises to the Lebanese.

According to these sources, the fundamental reform that has occurred in the French initiative is to abandon the demand to remove the resistance from the borders of occupied Palestine and replace it with the withdrawal of Hezbollah’s military capabilities from the borders without revealing the nature of these capabilities.
On the other hand, France claims that Israel will stop all its military operations and even the violation of Lebanese airspace, in addition to other provisions of the old initiative regarding the delimitation of land borders, the transfer of gas and oil cases and the presidential crisis. .
Macron informed Mikati about the developments of the French initiative, and this country is waiting for concrete answers from the Lebanese parties regarding the new proposals.
