A protest was stopped after the initial rally and 31 participants were identified.
Police officers filed about ten criminal charges against the protesters and spoke with the organizer of the pro-Palestinian demonstration. The German police spokesman claimed that the arrested people were charged with disturbing the peace, sedition and physically assaulting police officers. The participants were later able to move as planned and the demonstration proceeded smoothly. /p>

Thousands of others also gathered in Geneva, Switzerland’s Novo Square and marched in the city center. They held Palestinian flags and placards in support of the people of this country and chanted against Israel.
Protesters also chanted against US President Joe Biden and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the need to stop the genocide in Gaza. and emphasized an immediate and permanent ceasefire.
