According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency, citing Tass, the presidents of Russia and the Republic of Azerbaijan met in Moscow.
“Vladimir Putin” and “Ilham Aliyev”, the presidents of Russia and Azerbaijan, met and discussed with each other in Moscow this Monday.
The President of Russia emphasized in this meeting that bilateral relations between Moscow and Baku are at a high level and are growing.
Putin also invited his Azerbaijani counterpart to discuss the security situation in the region during Moscow talks.
The president of Azerbaijan also announced in this meeting that Russia is a very important country for security in the Caucasus region.
Kremlin Palace press office announced earlier this Monday that Ilham Aliyev, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, arrived in Moscow on a business trip, and in the next few hours he will meet with Vladimir Putin. The President of Russia will meet and talk.
