Assaf said: I, like thousands of other detained Palestinians, suffered starvation, torture and I faced daily assault. Also, like other prisoners, I was subjected to medical malpractice and I lost 29 kg of my weight in 6 months.
He added: The occupying regime is currently depriving the prisoners of basic food and giving them a small amount of food. The pains and sufferings that I suffered are very insignificant compared to what thousands of captives from Gaza are going through. They are specially tortured.
Assaf continued by explaining the situation of the prisoners from Gaza: Gaza prisoners with police dogs and troops Oppressors are attacked and mentally tortured.
This Palestinian freedman added: action must be taken at the level of international organizations to stop crimes against Palestinian prisoners, especially those from Gaza.
