report Mehr News Agency quoted by Quds Al-Akhbariya website, the World Food Program affiliated to the United Nations emphasized that after 200 days of war in Gaza, half of the residents of this strip are suffering from hunger.
The organization said in a statement on X’s social media that it sends emergency food aid to more than one million Palestinians in the Gaza Strip every month and is trying to restart The food systems are out of order in this category.
The said organization pointed out that the amount of food aid sent to Gaza is like a drop in the sea and does not meet the dire needs of the residents of this area.
WFP stressed that there is an urgent need for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
