According to the regional office of Tasnim news agency, “Sirik Jomangren, Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, and Amir Khan Motaghi, Foreign Minister of the Taliban government, discussed bilateral political and economic relations, bilateral trade and investment of Kazakhstan in Afghanistan.
In this meeting, while expressing his satisfaction with Kazakhstan’s commercial role in Afghanistan, Motaghi expressed hope that this country will invest in mining, railways and electronic government in Afghanistan.
The foreign minister of the Taliban government also demanded to raise the level of Afghanistan’s diplomatic representation in this country, develop relations and start direct flights between Kabul and Astana.
The Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan also noted that Afghanistan has tripled to Kazakhstan, and the technical delegation of this Shakur will have detailed technical discussions on investment in railways, mines and joint ventures in Afghanistan during their trip to Kabul.
While expressing hope for a direct flight between Kabul and Astana, he said that during his three-day trip to Afghanistan, he will also open the joint trade exhibition of Afghanistan and Kazakhstan in Kabul.
Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesman of the ruling body of Afghanistan, announced in mid-April that three new ambassadors will soon be stationed in Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan.
