The beginning of the BRICS Middle East developments meeting in Moscow

A meeting of the Deputy Foreign Ministers of the BRICS member countries regarding developments in the Middle East was held in Moscow today, Thursday.

According to the foreign policy group Tasnim news agency, the session Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs and special representatives of the member countries of the group of emerging economies known as BRICS started working today, May 6, with the agenda of reviewing developments in the Middle East and North Africa.

According to The Embassy of Iran in Moscow, the delegation of the Islamic Republic of Iran headed by Ali Bagheri, the political deputy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is present in this meeting. The current year (2024) is the host of this meeting.

This meeting was attended by the words of Mikhail Bogdanov, the special representative of the President of Russia for the affairs of the Middle East and North Africa countries and deputy The Minister of Foreign Affairs of this country started working.
