The French president said in a speech at the Sorbonne University in Paris: “There is a danger that our Europe will die. We are not equipped with the necessary expressions to deal with the dangers.” The French president continued his remarks and asked the 27 European Union members to start a united effort to build a “reliable” military force.
Macron said: “The issue only depends on our choices, but these choices must be made now because in the next decade there is a risk that we will be weakened.” Kurdish European countries are surrounded by big powers that undermine the values of European liberal democracy. He said that European values are constantly criticized and disputed by others.
He stated: “There is a risk that Europe will face decline and we are seeing this happen despite our efforts.”
He said in the section Another of his statements noted that being a member of the NATO alliance does not mean that the United States of America is a “puppet”. He said that by establishing an independent defense, Europe will be less dependent on the United States and will be better able to defend itself against Russia.
