The President of Columbia University while announcing this news added that the negotiations with the pro-Palestinian demonstrators have shown progress and these negotiations are still ongoing and the New York police have not been invited to the university campus.
This news comes while the American NBC network announced that according to statistics, students of 40 universities in America and Canada have sat down to declare solidarity with Gaza.
News sources also announced that the American police targeted the sit-in of Indiana University students in support of Gaza and Palestine. This attack took place after the sitters refused to remove the Chads installed in the university campus.
According to the mentioned sources, the police have arrested at least 33 students protesting the genocide in Gaza in this university.
