According to the international group Tasnim News Agency, citing Mikhail Bogdanov from “Interfax” news agency, Vladimir Putin’s Special Representative for the Middle East and North Africa and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia on Thursday, in a meeting with the Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs and special representatives of the BRICS member countries, discussed the catastrophic situation in the Gaza Strip, which was caused by the escalation of conflicts between Palestine and the Zionist regime.
According to the information published on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, regional issues were discussed in this meeting, and the participants emphasized the catastrophic situation in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict zone and the need to establish a ceasefire. Urgently focused on the Gaza Strip to save the lives of thousands of innocent people in the region.
According to this report, the representatives of the countries also discussed ways to contribute to the efforts to normalize the situation in the Middle East and comprehensively resolve the crises in Syria.
