reported by Mehr News Agency quoted by Al-Alam, the students of Harvard University raised the Palestinian flag for one hour in this university in protest of the Zionist regime’s genocide in the Gaza Strip and the suspension of Washington’s aid to Tel Aviv, as well as as a sign of solidarity with the people of Gaza. According to Al-Alam, the president of Harvard University had previously threatened the students that if the protests continue, he will refer them to the disciplinary committee.
However, protesting students have raised the Palestinian flag right above the “John Harvard” statue regardless of this threat.
Student organizations in the Gaza Strip appreciated the spontaneous rise of pro-Palestinian student associations in dozens of universities across the United States, describing their rise as history-making.
