reported by Mehr News Agency quoted by Al Jazeera, French Foreign Minister Stephane Sjourney announced in a speech in Lebanon this Sunday in order to reduce the tension between Lebanon’s Hezbollah and the occupiers of Al-Quds: All Lebanese groups must fulfill their responsibilities do.
The French Foreign Minister continued in this connection: We reject the worst scenario in Lebanon, i.e. war. Preserving Lebanon is one of the priorities and must be avoided. We must prevent regional war.
“Stephan Sijourni” added: “We will continue to support the Lebanese army, and the return of stability requires the re-establishment of the Lebanese army in the south of this country.
He further added: We have made proposals to calm the situation in southern Lebanon and we need to reach an agreement (on this).
This is while the French Foreign Minister entered the Rafiq Hariri International Airport in Beirut yesterday.
