While confirming the process of arresting the members of this group by the Taliban government, "Hizb Tahrir" clarified that these measures do not deter them from trying to establish a caliphate. |
According to the regional office of Tasnim News Agency, press office Hizb-ul-Tahrir in Afghanistan, in a statement confirming the arrest of members of this group in various provinces by the Taliban government, wrote: Such pressures will not deter Hizb-ul-Tahrir and its members from continuing the call and efforts to establish a caliphate.
This extremist group also criticized the Taliban government that its members were not included in the amnesty and release of prisoners on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.
Late last April In a statement, Hizb ut-Tahrir announced the arrest of the spokesperson and a number of members of this extremist group over the past two months for the crime of calling for and establishing an Islamic caliphate.
