He assured that the rally would be peaceful and would not pose any threat to law and order if the police force refrained from violent action.

On Monday, the Legal Affairs Committee of the Georgian Parliament approved the “Transparency of Foreign Influence” bill in the second reading. During the discussion, which lasted for 10 hours, heated debates took place between representatives of the ruling party “Dream of Georgia – Democratic Georgia” and the opposition, and 14 opposition representatives were expelled from the hall for violating the rules.

This bill was approved in the first reading in mid-April.

The date of presenting this bill for voting in the general session of the Parliament of Georgia has not yet been announced.
