According to the local media, “left extremists” have taken responsibility for this fire. Since the beginning of the Ukrainian war in February 2022, the Rheinmetall factory has provided combat equipment such as Leopard tanks to the Kyiv army. Last month, the German government ordered this factory to produce 20 Marder infantry fighting vehicles for the Ukrainian army. This attack, which was clearly an arson attack, took place in the village of “Hermansburg” located in the northwest of Germany.
A message attributed to the group responsible for this attack, on the “Indymedia” platform (Free Press Network Information related to Khabar activists has been published, which states: Rheinmetall has hoarded various types of tanks, along with other ammunition, which are now ready to be sold to Ukraine at an exorbitant price and profit.
