reported by Mehr News Agency, citing Al Jazeera, the Office of the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court pointed out that it is aware of the official and unofficial concerns related to the investigations of this institution in connection with the Gaza war, and emphasized on the continuation of these investigations.
In a statement, the office called for the cessation of all efforts to obstruct, intimidate or influence court officials, noting that the independence and impartiality of the court is not compromised when threats of retaliation are made against the court. or its authorities, it is weakened.
The Office of the Prosecutor of the Hague Tribunal also emphasized that the threat of a trial even without taking action may constitute a crime against the administration of justice under the Rome Statute.
This news comes while knowledgeable sources announced that the prosecutor of the International Criminal Court met and talked with the staff of Al-Shafa hospitals in the north and Nasser hospitals in the south of the Gaza Strip. And recorded their statements about the crimes of the Zionist regime’s soldiers and the massacre of patients and refugees in these hospitals.
According to these sources, who asked not to be named, the events that happened in these hospitals are added to other investigations that the International Criminal Court is conducting regarding war crimes, crimes against humanity, commits rape and genocide in the Gaza Strip.
