According to the international group Tasnim News Agency, Temel Karameloglu, the leader of the Turkish Prosperity Party, announced who is resigning from his position due to old age and health issues.
He stated that my health condition no longer allows me to shoulder this responsibility and said: in this election period (Municipalities) I was only able to travel to 4 places. This is a great shortcoming for a party leader. It wasn’t because I didn’t want to go, but because my health didn’t allow it. After that, I was in the hospital for a week and today I am a little better.
The leader of Saadat Party added: My recovery today is temporary. In the next 4 years, if the elections are not early, we have a chance to develop our organization in a powerful way. Of course, I will not withdraw from politics completely, but I will withdraw from the leadership of the party and I will support any of our brothers who becomes the general director of the party in the highest form. Launching and changes have been at the leadership level. In the recent term, Meral Akhsner, the leader of the Good Party, was replaced by Mesavat Darvişoğlu. Before that, Kemal Kilicdaroglu, the leader of the People’s Republic Party, was replaced by Özgur Özel, and a little before that, the People’s Democratic Party was changed to the People’s Equality and Democracy Party (DEM), and Tolay Hatim Ogollari and Tunjar Bakrhan were the leaders of this party. They took over the party.
