UNRWA warned about the outbreak of an epidemic in Gaza at the beginning of the hot season

report Mehr News Agency citing Sabanet, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA), referring to the accumulation of garbage in the strip Gaza warned about the spread of infectious diseases and the occurrence of an epidemic in this strip.

UNRWA, stressing the rising temperature as the summer season approaches, announced that garbage has been dumped all over the Gaza Strip. And insects and mice as well as diseases and epidemics are increasing.

According to the agency, the lack of a proper sanitation system worsens the situation. Warnings about the spread of infectious diseases in Gaza City have intensified after the accumulation of a large amount of garbage and sewage in the streets of this city. Also, the remaining bodies under the rubble of the barbaric bombardment of the Zionist regime also fuel these warnings.
