reported by Mehr News Agency quoted by Rianousti news agency, the Russian Foreign Ministry issued a statement on Tuesday announcing the consultation of the Saudi Foreign Minister with his Russian counterpart.
According to this media, today’s consultation was done by phone.
In the statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia in this regard, it is stated: Sergey Lavrov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia regarding the prospect of developing relations between the two countries and the issue of the escalation of conflicts between the Palestinians and (the regime of) Israel discussed.
On the other hand, Al-Sharq Al-Awsat also wrote about this: Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah had a phone call with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov on Tuesday.
The two sides discussed bilateral relations and issues of interest to the two countries.
