Grossi and Ulyanov’s consultation about Iran

He wrote in the X program: Today I met with Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency. We discussed the results of his recent trip to Iran and also some issues related to the “Zaprogia” power plant.
Grossi visited Tehran and met with the officials of the Islamic Republic the other day. Iran participated in a joint press conference with Mohammad Eslami, head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran.
He said in this meeting: More than a year ago, we had to issue a statement ( March agreement) we agreed to define the future path, that document was important. The document also addresses what is needed to resolve the remaining issues and identifies additional steps the parties should take. Despite the shortcomings, steps have been taken and the provisions of the document are valid. It is necessary for us to take operational steps and I made a proposal to Iran. In a separate meeting, the teams of the parties are defining the additional steps.
Grossi said in response to a question about the March statement between Iran and the IAEA and its effect on resolving the issues: Our intention is not to produce a new document and our basis is the March statement. These are the operational steps we have taken to take. The joint statement has the capacity to resolve the remaining issues.
