Through this project, 33 billion cubic meters of gas will be transferred from Turkmenistan to three other countries every year.
This project in Afghanistan passes through the provinces of Kandahar, Farah, Helmand and Herat, many of which were insecure in the past.
In Afghanistan, the TAPI gas pipeline is stretched along the Herat-Kandahar highway and then passes through Quetta and Multan in Pakistan and finally reaches the city of Fazilka in India.
It is worth mentioning that the gas transmission project Tapi starts from Turkmenistan and reaches India after passing through Afghanistan and Pakistan. With the implementation of this project, in addition to providing jobs for thousands of people, Afghanistan will earn more than 400 million dollars annually from the transit site.
