These students announced to Al-Quds Al-Arabi newspaper if the universities do not officially establish this movement. If they prevent it, they will declare it a “student family”.

They added that the main goal is to establish committees to boycott products that support the Zionist regime.

In the initial statement of this movement, it is stated: Egyptian students have been the awakened conscience of the Egyptian nation since the past, who express the sufferings and aspirations of this nation and will remain on this path. In addition, it is the continuation of the original student movement, which in the past has always been the foundation of the national forces and the expression of their policy.

In the continuation of this statement, we read: Since the establishment of the Zionist regime and the withdrawal of British colonialism, the conflict with this regime and the issue of the freedom of Palestine have been the first national issue in the conscience of the Egyptian public, especially It has been a student movement.
