The meeting of the joint consular commission of Iran and the UAE after 10 years

The meeting of the joint consular commission of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United Arab Emirates was held in Abu Dhabi under the chairmanship of Alireza Bekdali, Deputy Consul, Majlis and Iranians of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Khaled Abdullah Balhoul, Deputy Deputy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the UAE.

Reza Ameri, the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Abu Dhabi, was also present at this meeting, as well as representatives of relevant institutions, including the Ministry of Justice, Education and Culture, the Red Crescent Society and the Ports Authority. and shipping were present.

Iranian and Emirati delegations discussed and exchanged views on consular issues, judicial, police and law enforcement cooperation, sea transportation and transit, and solving the problems of nationals.

These negotiations were held after a ten-year break and within the framework of mutual understanding between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the UAE to strengthen consular cooperation.
