According to the regional office of Tasnim News Agency, “Hasan Kazemi Qomi, Ambassador and Special Representative of the President of Iran in Afghanistan, while expressing his condolences and sympathies with the people of Afghanistan after the flood in this country, announced that the Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to send relief forces, medical teams and necessary aid items upon the request of the Afghan authorities. Send the gifts of the noble nation of Iran to the dear people of Afghanistan through the Red Crescent and the Imam Khomeini (RA) Relief Committee to the affected areas as soon as possible.

He added: This is if the unbalanced approaches and unknown procedures in accepting humanitarian aid are clearly stated. The experience of Zindajan earthquake in Herat, where golden hours were spent coordinating and consulting to save people, has made it difficult to make a decision. Referring to the floods in Afghanistan, the International Red Crescent Society said: “The Red Crescent Society of Iran is ready to send medical and relief teams, as well as biological items, if requested by Afghanistan, based on its inherent duties and in order to relieve human suffering.”
