Signing of the memorandum of joint security cooperation between Iraq and Syria

In the joint press conference with his Syrian counterpart, he discussed security cooperation in this note; Cooperation in the field of combating drugs, controlling international borders, handing over wanted persons and combating organized crime and money laundering.

The Iraqi Interior Minister emphasized: There is good intelligence cooperation between Iraq and Syria and the two countries cooperate in the field of information exchange.

On the other hand, Syrian Interior Minister Mohammad Khaled al-Rhomon said that he had consulted with his Iraqi counterpart about cooperation in all fields, especially security, and in this regard, the Memorandum of Cooperation Joint security is signed.

He announced the holding of a meeting in Baghdad for extensive regional cooperation on July 22 of this year.

The Syrian Minister of the Interior, pointing out that Iraq has made great achievements in the field of destroying ISIS terrorist groups, said: There are still ISIS centers in Syria, which from time to time They attack. We are determined to completely defeat terrorism.
