According to Tasnim News Agency, Hossein Amirabdollahian said: This evening during the speech at the third meeting of talks Iranian-Arab meeting, which was organized by the strategic council of foreign relations of our country, I emphasized that we have passed the stage of Iran-Arab dialogues and now we are in the stage of regional dialogues and beyond that, regional cooperation.
He added: I considered elite meetings and discussions among scholars and intellectuals of the region as an effective way to purify minds and thoughts from incorrect and baseless perceptions about each other. Understanding and empathy between the countries of the region is determined, and the government’s decisive approach in highlighting the neighborhood policy is aimed at understanding this basic point. Amir Abdollahian pointed out that the strategy of the Islamic Republic of Iran based on sustainable development and security, convergence and regional cooperation, and I considered it necessary to remove the occupation and disarm the nuclear weapons of the Zionist regime in order to fully realize peace, stability and complete and true security in West Asia. I said to Tehran and Cairo: Within the framework of the agreement between the presidents of Iran and Egypt, we are having forward-looking negotiations with Mr. Sameh Shokri on the way to improve the relations between Cairo and Tehran. We have taken joint steps and we will continue this right path together. A strategic view of regional dialogue and cooperation includes a wide range in the Islamic world and the Arab world, including Egypt.
