, the Ministry of Transportation and Aviation of the Taliban government announced that it has reached a temporary agreement with Pakistan for the issuance of commercial goods transportation licenses.
According to this agreement, Kabul and Islamabad will issue border crossing certificates to the drivers of trucks carrying commercial goods. The crossing between Afghanistan and Pakistan should carry a certificate from the Ministry of Transport.
For Pakistani drivers, this certificate is issued by the Afghan consulates in Peshawar and Quetta. and in Afghanistan, this document is issued by the Pakistani missions in Kabul and Kandahar.
The ministry also warned that the movement of trucks without presenting this document will be illegal from June 1st.
